Our client asked for us to supply & install an Automatic Domestic Gate to their premises in Raunds, Northamptonshire. They identified the “Hargrave” wooden gate from our gallery. The Automatic Domestic Gate was constructed from Iroko and stained with a clear Osmo oil to further enhance the natural beauty of the wood. The hardwood gate was constructed in the UK using hand crafted traditional methods. The electric wooden gate was finished to the same high standard as expected with all of our automatic gate installations.
Our first task was to install the foundation boxes for the Beninca DU350 NVE motors. Due to the slope across the threshold we installed the motors to suit the slope. We carefully placed matching block paving sets around each foundation box to give an extremely neat finish. This also helps to prevent water from flowing directly into the foundation boxes; preventing the motors from sitting in water for large periods of time and prolonging the life of the units.
Our team of engineers installed Beninca Gate Automation equipment to power the automatic domestic gate. Our Project Director calculated the size and weight of the gate before choosing the correct gate automation. All relevant safety equipment including infrared beams and resistive sensitive edges were installed. The automated wooden gates were force tested to ensure they comply with current safety guidelines.
In addition to the Automatic Domestic Gate we also installed an automatic garage door operator. The Beninca garage door motor is designed to work with existing up and over garage doors. We installed the equipment to our high standards and thoroughly tested the device before handing it over to our client.
The client requested a wireless keypad to control both the automatic domestic gate and garage door. 2 button remote controls were issued. Each button was individually programmed to operate either the automatic gate or automatic garage door.
